The “F” Words is part of Intrepid Theatre’s 2014 YOU Show programming.

The “F” Words features the fearless, ferocious talents of Yvette Dudley-Neuman who will be sharing this new work.  This will be the first pubic reading/ presentation.  The evening will end with an informal discussion of the play’s themes to assist the writer in developing her solo show. All welcome, but if you are a woman who has opinions about being forty (or fifty, or fifteen), fat, friends, feeling forgotten and getting f**cked in this Facebook loving, frenzied world, please come and share your experiences to assist in the development of this new work.

Ms. Dudley-Neuman is an Actor, Singer, and Writer, committed to exhibiting new and established Canadian works that encourage opportunities for Canadian artists to share and hone their talents.  Yvette has appeared in many films and theatre projects and continues work on her craft.

In 2007, Yvette received BC Arts Council funding for the production of a short film that she co-produced, wrote and played the lead role in called Edna Brown, directed by Katrin Bowen. Other writing credits include a her new stage play, Christmas Crackers, Detention Divas and twenty Heritage Re-enactment scripts for the Surrey Museum.  Yvette is in pre-production for her short film project, Laundry Day that she will direct and produce. She thanks Intrepid Theatre for the opportunity to unleash her creative talents by tackling this one-woman show.

Ms. Dudley- Neuman will be reading/presenting excerpts from this new work, as an exploration of perception and reception.  The audience will be invited to participate in discussions around the play’s themes, content and impact.  The playwright will use the information gathered to further the work, deepen the themes and heighten the universal impact of the play.
